"Had lunch here yesterday on the way to meet a friend in Sparta. Big delicious hearty bowl of loaded baked potato soup hit the spot. The grilled cheese sandwich was very average, wouldn't order it again. The host/server was excellent. Very nice and attentive. BUT about an later, OOF. The tummy rumbles started and then I spent the next six hours visiting the bathroom. Could it have been from something else? We'll, that's the only meal I had up to that point yesterday so I'm pretty sure it was something I ate for lunch. Unpleasant for sure."

"We stopped by after a morning hike and tried the cheeseburger and hot dog. Trinity was our great server and Justin made the food well and it was very flavorful! Will have to come back on a warmer day to try the many milkshake flavors. Had a pleasant conversation with the owner, Dana, before leaving. Will definitely be back the next time we visit the area!"

"This small, family-style restaurant was a wonderful find during our Blue Ridge Parkway travels. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth, and our waitress was exceptionally friendly and personable. Although there were only two staff members working and the place was fairly busy, our fried oyster platters arrived promptly. The oysters were perfectly cooked--crispy but not overly so--with excellent flavor. The slaw and baked potatoes were just as satisfying. We finished our meal with the homemade apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious. The pie crust was soft and buttery, and the warm apples paired beautifully with the slowly melting vanilla ice cream. We've added Circle L Restaurant to our list of must-visit food stops and travel favorites. We'll definitely be coming back!"

"Stopped here for a late lunch after driving up the Blueridge Parkway. I enjoyed the friendly staff, clean eating area and bathroom. Food was good, freshly made. The pattymelt had a nice thick hamburger patty. Excellent onion rings. Didn't care for the hot dog chili. The ice cream and pumpkin roll was a sweet ending. Definitely worth stopping by. Tell Dana we said 'hello'. "

"My wife and I stopped for breakfast on our journey home from the mountains. Best decision to end our long weekend getaway on a strong note! We were greeted like old friends by Dana the owner and the atmosphere only got better from there. It was a joy to watch the locals come and go and interact with each other like we were in the middle of a family gathering. The food was on point! We both had western omelettes and they were delicious. The coffee was hot and the price was just right!"
